Dr Tejvir Singh

Biography

Dr Tejvir Singh is a renowned sustainability expert with a diverse multi-national and multicultural educational and professional background with rich experience in developing and implementing technologies, policies, and projects focused on sustainable development. He holds a PhD in Sustainable Energy from HBKU, Qatar Foundation, which is globally ranked 183 in 2024-25. Before his doctoral studies, Dr Singh completed his master’s in management and engineering of Environment and Energy from KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden, a university ranked 74th globally in 2024-25. One of Dr Singh's key contributions is the development of the NSDAIA concept, which is a critical tool for the on-the-ground implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Additionally, he has pioneered the concept of business stock valuation and policy frameworks to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050. Leveraging his global collaborations and deep expertise in sustainability, Dr. Singh ensures the successful execution of a diverse range of innovative and technically advanced projects. These include initiatives related to compressed biogas (CBG) production, power generation from refuse-derived fuel (RDF), petrochemical and fuel manufacturing from solid waste, sustainable desalination, and sustainable agriculture - all aimed at driving progress towards a sustainable future. Dr. Tejvir Singh's remarkable academic credentials, combined with his practical experience and innovative thinking, make him a leading figure in the field of sustainable development, contributing significantly to the achievement of the UN's Sustainable Development Goals globally.
